Looking to do this again real soon. Really enjoyed the time away from reality and the opportunity to explore new and different things. Of course this was a trip to visit my long lost Son living in Nevada but the time spent in South Lake Tahoe was such a memorable time for me. It was picture perfect and even the drive into Fallon Nevada was quite memorable as well.
The most awesome part of the whole trip was the fact that I could reconnect with the Son I couldn't connect with for almost his whole life.
I would say life was much easier then but that was only but a year ago and the years leading up to the pictures was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life. I know it is said that "That which doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" is so very true and often I find myself repeating it to me. Not because I will forget but it has and is still a very real and factual statement in my life.
I am looking forward to doing this drive again even if it is not for some time but it will happen again and I'm also looking to go up north California to see some friends I haven't seen for about five years. Maybe I can share this in upcoming post from these very locations.
